i have the amd fx 4100 oc to 4.2ghz and i am thinking of upgrading the card to hd 7870 will he processer bottleneck the gpu???

at some cases cpu bottleneck may appear but i think it should run just fine.

That is a nice balance, I do not think you will be "bottlenecked" with that overclock.
