Will my cpu bottleneck this GPU?

Hello i have an average gaming pc with a I5-6402p 2.80ghz stock (3.40ghz turbo) and i was wondering if i could put in a GTX 1080 founders edition that if my skylake i5 would bottleneck the 1080.

You might experience bottlenecking in some scenarios, but unless you want to do 4K gaming or such you'd be more than fine with a GTX 1070 instead.

yes that is what i am doing i have a 28 inch 4k monitor so u think i would be ok with a 1080 ?
