I'm building a pc and i need to know if my cpu cooler will fit with my ram. I'm planning on getting G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 and Deepcool - GAMMAXX 400 74.3 CFM CPU Cooler.

That's a 212 evo on the titanium & plainly leaves slots 1 to 3 clear

The gammaxx is 15mm narrower so would likely also leave slot 4 clear too.

With 2 sticks you only need slots 1 & 3 anyway so it will work irregardless.

Be aware that z170 board requires a BIOS update to run a kaby lake CPU!

From looking at product dimensions, the height of the trident z is 44mm:

http://www.ebuyer.com/772405-g-skill-trident-z-rgb-16gb-kit-ddr4-3200mhz-ram-f4-3200c16d-16gtzr

As for the gammaxx 400, it seems there is a 31mm gap as shown here:

http://www.deepcool.com/product/cpucooler/2013-12/7_487.shtml

So by the looks of things, no it won't fit.

Your options are to either move the fan up to the point where the ram fits (This can affect cooling a little bit sometimes) or try using them in other slots away from the cooler (at least 2 of 4 slots on the motherboard are not affected by the cooler usually).

The best option would be to use lower profile ram, although you may end up using ram without rgb. I personally use 16gb of corsair vengeance low profile ram under my Noctua NH-D15 cooler so that the ram can fit.

Then what cooler should i use? My cpu is Intel® Core™ i5-7600K and i want to have no problems while overclocking.

Cryorig h7 - it has a rear offset so misses the ram slots even on matx boards.

That said what motherboard are you using??

The gammaxx 400 normally only encroaches on slot 4 on most full size atx boards

It may be a non issue with only 2 ram sticks

The "31mm" shown in the specifications of the Gammaxx 400 is not the RAM height clearance. It is simply only the height measured from the copper base to the bottom of the heatsink's aluminium fins.

The Trident Z RAMs (at 44mm height) will still fit alongside the Gammaxx 400, on a typical motherboard layout (just check how close the RAM slots are to the CPU cooler's fan).

Examples:

This build (https://au.pcpartpicker.com/b/mn7WGX) uses ~51mm high RAMs (Corsair Dominator) alongside the Gammaxx 400, with no issues:

The gammaxx will cool the 7600k, it is close to the coolermaster 212 evo in terms of performance.

If you want to guarantee the ram will fit, water coolers are the best option. However, for your price range, you could go with the cryorig h7 air cooler, which has very similar performance to the gammaxx with zero ram interference:

Is my motherboard ( MSI Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION ) a typical motherboard? (I don't have the motherboard with me so i cannot check :/)

BIOS update? (It's my first time building a pc)

Actually, it's slots 2 and 4, also known as A2 or B2, or on some boards, DDR4_1 and DDR4_2, which are always the second and fourth slots away from the motherboard on any dual channel architecture motherboard I have ever seen and I'm pretty sure that is according to industry standard so likely that is for ALL dual channel boards. Just so nobody else comes along referencing this thread saying "well, this thread said slots 1 and 3".
