Question Will my Cpu work?

So i bought for a good deal a cpu I7-6700k but there was a catch and the catch is at it has a dent in it and i can see like cardboard type inside on the greenboard but doesnt harm any pins. i dont have motherboard for socket lga 1151 and dont want to buy because scared of that it will not work so i am turning to some kind of Experts

My budget is around 300-450$
 
If you re-use your existing DDR4. This would work.

However, you probably want to pick up a new PSU. And if you have room for an ATX board or want a new case that does, there is a little room in the budget.

If the PSU is as old as the 4770k then that should also be replaced. What size depends on the GPU you intend to use. (If no GPU, then we need to swap the 12600KF for a 12600K at the least or do an AMD APU build.
