I’m planing to get a 30 series card probs a 3070 or a 3060 if it comes out and I was wondering if my cv550 psu will cut it? I have ryzen 5 3600 b450-f, rog mobo and Corsair vengeance 2x8 3200mhz ram

The wattage may BARELY be enough for the 3070, and just graze it for the 3060.
But the problem is, the CV is really a low end series of psus, designed for lower end systems than that.

The CV series are really only suitable for a home workstation and not in any gaming computer. You should be using a high quality power supply at about 650 watts for a 3070.

The german series is terrible quality. Then they put fancy RGB on it to make the turd sell to unsuspecting buyers. Lipstick on a pig so-to-speak. So, there you have it...NO.
