I’m planing to get a 30 series card probs a 3070 or a 3060 if it comes out and I was wondering if my cv550 psu will cut it? I have ryzen 5 3600 b450-f, rog mobo and Corsair vengeance 2x8 3200mhz ram

The CV series are really only suitable for a home workstation and not in any gaming computer. You should be using a high quality power supply at about 650 watts for a 3070.

The wattage may BARELY be enough for the 3070, and just graze it for the 3060.
But the problem is, the CV is really a low end series of psus, designed for lower end systems than that.
The CV series are really only suitable for a home workstation and not in any gaming computer. You should be using a high quality power supply at about 650 watts for a 3070.
