Im just wondering if my Dell Optiplex 960 will work with 6 GB of RAM. It currently has the stock 4 GB (2 sticks of 2 GB), But i just ordered 2 sticks of 1 GB each to fill the other DIMM slots and increase performance. The memory is DDR2 PC2-6400 800 mhz. 240 pin.
But heres where im confused. The online manual for my computer says nothing about a 6 GB memory configuration, Only 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8. Here it is.
