I'll recommend the asus a 3rd time. A friend of mine picked it up and it runs great for him, not a single problem at all. It is a disc drive though, so you'd hope nothing drastic goes wrong.

The good ones I know of are Power DVD and Win DVD Pro. Just google them and see which one you like and where the best price is.

On another note this might be the longest time between posts I have ever seen! Glad you finally got a drive though.
