There are a number of ways to "reinstall":

First step being "Make sure you backup your data".

Always backup anyway, no matter what type reinstall you decide to use.

Clean install is highly recommended.

And do wait - there may be other ideas, suggestions, and comments.

You will want to export your favorites to a file on a USB before you reinstall Windows. If you look under the General tab in Settings, there will be an Import/Export box to click. You can export your favorites from there.

Obviously, backing them up makes sense, but if Google can do it with Chrome, surely MS can do the same. Need a Microsoft Account to do the sync.
