Will my fx 9370 bottleneck my gtx 1070 on 1440p 144hz?

Hey guys. I'm planning on buying the 2600x/8600k and I was wondering if it would be better to buy a new monitor. So will fx 9370 bottleneck my gtx 1070 on 1440p 144hz? Thanks in advance.

Even at 1440p, it may bottleneck. I would upgrade to a modern platform.

FX chips are in the range of 2nd to 3rd gen I5's even when you overclock the **** out of them. 1440p 144hz is a pretty tough resolution to run on newer hardware much less something that is 5 years old and has nearly a 45% weaker IPC.

1440p is more GPU dependent than anything. CPU is less of a factor, above 1080p. Still would recommend upgrading the CPU/MB/RAM

Not entirely true, increasing the resolution decreases FPS since a CPU can only deliver those pre-rendered frames according to it's IPC and thread count. When your playing 144hz you're expecting 144 FPS are you not? FX chips struggle with 1080p 60fps 5 years ago and held back a 1070 GTX when it was released what do you expect would happen now?
