Question Will my Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X AX board be enough to pair with an i9-14900k ?

Hi

I purchased a Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X AX motherboard which was going to be used to run a i5-13600k or 14600k. Then i changed my mind and decided I would like to buy an i9-14900k instead.
Will this motherboard be enought to run this i9-14900k ?
I wouldnt be overclocking etc. Or should i get another motherboard for the i9-14900k?.

It should work just fine as long as it has the bios update to support 14th-gen CPUs.

Thanks for replying Reason i ask because i wasnt sure if there would be a differnce on how the cpu would perform on gaming and if i decide to do things that are more cpu intensive because this motherboard isnt a top high end motherboard so wasnt sure becuase its more of a cheaper motherboard would this affect the cpu performance in any way. i have no plans to overclock etc.
