Hello,
A while back I had an incident where I accidentally connected the 6+2 pin PCI power to the 4+4 CPU power (everything else correctly.
This happened when my new GTX 1050 Ti was inserted and I am not sure if it will be still usable of if I need to get a new one.
Here's my previous post that goes into more detail about the accident
Note - I am getting a new Seasonic power supply in order to install my GPU (link to ccl page)
So, will my GPU work fine?
Any and all answers appreciated.
Thanks

If the (wrong amount of)power didn't get to your GPU like it did for your motherboard, it should be fine but outside of that there's no way of saying if the other parts were affected by your mistake unless you try and power up the system with a new, reliably built PSU.

Also, run us by your specs, again! Please include your system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Case:
OS:
