Hi there,

I know this is a nooby question, but I just want to triple check. Will a GTX 1060 6GB D5 from Gigabyte fit in a Corsair 100r case without removing the drive bays ( I will be using the top PCI-E slot) It looks like it will fit by looking at the specifications and the picture, but I just want to make sure.

Any help is appreciated :)

the size of the gpu you can ut inside in the case is determined by the case manufacturer, if the manufacturer in this case, corsair, says that it can fit in this case

http://www.corsair.com/en-eu/carbide-series-100r-mid-tower-case

Maximum GPU Length: Top Slots: 414mm, Lower Slots: 275mm

since you report that you are buying 1 gtx 1060, this one

http://www.gigabyte.us/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060D5-6GD-rev-10#kf

Card size H=40 L=278 W=114 mm

it says length 278 millimeters, it should be enough of room for the power cable there then and for the front fans for that case if you install it in the first pci express x16 slot

if your motherboard has more pci express x16 slots it seems that on your case you can't install it there so use only...

btw, you are buying a case without a window on the left panel but your gpu is meant to be showed trough a window, for the leds and fan indicators, consider buying a case model with a window on the left panel or see if you can find a panel with window for the 100r you chose
