will my gpu heat go to the cpu?

i have a case that is oriented in such a way that the gpu fans face up towards the cpu not down to the bottom of the case, is this a problem? will the gpu heat up the rest of the componentes? the gpu im getting is a zotac 970 amp! extreme edition https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/zotac-video-card-zt9010310p

The way you explain it, no it wouldn't transfer the heat, just make sure your airflow is correct. Front fans as intake, rear fan as axhaust, top fans as exhaust and side panel fans (if you have one) as intake.
