Hi. I was trying to instal my MPG X570 GAMING PLUS motherboard into a new Musetex RTX case and I figured out that I needed to re calibrate the the motherboard screws so I had to take out my GPU. It was a pain to try and take out as it was stuck. It finally came out but I broke the PCIe lock in the process. Will the graphics card still work without the lock?

So long as the GPUis fastened to the chassis with screws on the PCIe expansion slot, you should be fine. Just make sure that the card's fingers are fully seated in the PCIe slot on the motherboard.

For the sake of relevance, you might want to pass on images of the slot to show the extent of the damage.
Thx for response. I reattached the lock. I’m going to post another thread because my computer won’t boot in the new case I just installed.
