Will my GPU work with everything?

Hey guys!

First time building a mid-level gaming rig and I just want to know if I'll have to return anything. Wanted to know thoughts on this:

Will my Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB GPU work with a 600W Power supply?

Complete specs:

Processor: AMD FX-6300 6-Core

Motherboard: Gigabyte AM3+ AMD 970 GA-970A-DS3P

RAM: 8GB Kit (4GB x 2) DDR3

Hard Drive: WD 1TB SATA 6 GB/sec

Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80 PLUS

OS: Windows 8.1 Full Retail

This whole rig cost me around ~$900. Can I minimize costs somewhere? Am I being too over-powering with the RAM? Thoughts overall would be MUCH appreciated. Hope to hear responses from people who actually know what they're doing!

Solution
Short answer is yes. A good 600 watt power supply will do, but I don't like that psu in particular. Also, fx 6300 should bottleneck your card, if it's possible to step up to fx 8350, I would do that. Otherwise good rig.
Thank you so much for that answer! Coming from a complete new guy on the "building-a-PC" scene, when you say it will 'bottleneck' my GPU, would that be a super noticeable thing? Or what would that mean in my situation? Thanks again for the answer. That's just awesome :)

A cpu bottleneck will stop your gpu from performing like it should. Meaning that your gpu could be running @ 80 percent instead of 99% becuase your cpu just can't keep up with your gpu. Sorry for the late response and be sure to direct message me if you have any additional questions.

Here's a build I just did for the same cost with an i5 4460 if you replace the SSD with your mechanical drive.

It is already constructed and working perfectly.
Note: the PSU in this build was 40% off when I bought it (it is basically the smallest a PSU could be for this build) you would probably want to go with a higher wattage unit.

Sorry, didn't see that you had already bought the parts and answered too quickly 😛
