I am new at building PC and this is my first PC. I'm getting a GTX 1080 EVGA superclocked and my power supply is a thermaltake tr2 s series 600 watt. Will that power supply be able to power my graphic card?

My rig specs-
I7 6700
GTX 1080 EVGA superclocked
8gb ram ddr4
B150m Gaming m3 mortar motherboard
1 TB HDD
Thermaltake 600watt tr2 s series
And to fit that all in a Corsair Carbide spec- 01. Plz help me asap

Solution
Yes, do not get the Corsair VS or that Cooler Master.

Stick with the Thermaltake TR2. 600W is more than enough for your build.
your graphics card pulls around 200w. it should be fine, since the cpu+motherboard+RAM should consume around 160W. As time goes on, things become more power efficient.
and since your motherboard is a micro ATX and your case is a mid tower (holds ATX), everything should fit.

Bro are u sure thermaltake will be able.to handle it? And I just realised my motherboard is b150 full atx. Will it work?:) Thanks in advance

it doesn't matter what kind of chipset your motherboard has when it comes to a GPU. if it has a PCI-E slot then it'll work

I know that but what im worried about is my powersupply. Is it good enough to handle a gtx 1080? coz i cant afford to get any other power supply so im getting a thermaltake one. it does have pcie 6+2 pin connectors but is reliable and will it run gtx 1080 evga superclocked without any problems?

The only other option I have is a Corsair vs 650 and cooler Master b600. I've heard Corsair vs650 keeps shutting down the PC. So yeah. That's all the options I have. I live in a place where stuff like super Nova costs around 150 dollrs or more so ya

Okay fine. Thank you so much for this. :)

I can't afford any other psu

Adding a better psu is going way out of the budget. That's why I can't upgrade. Plus here in India it costs like 150 dollars for a good psu
