I recently was bought a new gaming computer by my father but for some unknown reason it came without a graphics card making it's purpose very hard and now i have bought a gtx 960 graphics card but a, unsure as to if it will fit as it looks too big for the position it is supposed to go in. while answering this please keep in mind i do not know a lot about computer so please use simple terms when describing what to do.

Solution
It's not unusual for a pre-built PC to be supplied without an add-on graphics card - - the standard GPU is either integrated on the processor if it's an APU, or it's a graphics chip integrated on the motherboard. Unusual that a PC marketed as a gaming machine should come without a gaming card though, but I guess the builder thought it best to let the buyer choose their own.

The GeForce GTX 960 is a dual-width card (ie takes up the space of two slots instead of one) but it should fit that board according to this: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2949195/gtx-960-fit-motherboard.html

Solution
It will fit in the board absolutely fine.
That is a non-issue.

The question is whether the case itself has sufficient room & wheter the psu (power supply unit) is up to the job - the gtx 960 (depending on model) requires a 6 or 8 pin power connector.

Without further information we can't really help though.
