Will My Hard Drive work on a new mobo?

I am buying a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 Motherboard and an AMD FX 6100 CPU and I need to know if the hard drive from my old computer will work. It is an SATA 160 GB with Windows XP Professional 64 bit installed.

It should work fine. If you want to use your win install you will at minimum have to do repair install.
