Will my i5 2500k bottleneck?

Hello,

I have a 4 year old system with an i5 2500k overclocked to 4.3 GHz. My power supply is 750 watts. My current graphics card is a GTX 560. I would like to upgrade my graphics card to a GTX 970 with all of the cyber Monday deals going on. Will my processor bottleneck this upgrade?

no that cpu is perfectly capable of handling a gtx 970

Yah i agree the 2500k is still a pretty good cpu for gaming I doubt it would bottleneck a 970 in any meaningful way.

Your 2500k @ 4.3GHz is more than capable for any single GPU out there. Go ahead and buy the 970. I just bought myself the 980ti and there is 0 bottleneck with my 2500k.
