Question Will my i7 7700 bottleneck an rtx 2060?

Hello! I was just wondering if my current cpu(i7 7700) will bottleneck an rtx2060. If yes, how bad at 1080p? 1440p? Thanks for any help anybody can give me

I would not expect any bottleneck at 1440p. At 1080p maybe in very cpu heavy games but not enough to worry about.

Should be fine - might be somewhat limited if you are shooting for very high framerates at 1080p.

Great! Thanks. I was wondering what CPU I would need to use my extra 1080p 144hz monitor I Have if you might know by chance? Otherwise I'll have to get a 1440p one.

Depends on the game - some will hit 144fps or much more with a lesser processor. Some won't do it with the most expensive CPU you can buy. If you have particular games in mind, research benchmarks for those with your CPU/GPU combo or something close.

You are likely good.

Try this test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.
