[SOLVED] Will my laptop be able to output 144hz to a monitor?

My laptop is the Overpowered 17+ (for some reason it is not showing up on Walmart’s website anymore)

My laptop has two Mini DisplayPorts and one HDMI (I think 2.0)

I know the laptop already has a 144hz display, but I want to connect it to a 144hz monitor that I already have

The monitor is the ASUS VG248QE

Since it’s old, it won’t support 144hz through HDMI, leaving me with dp to mini dp, which I’m not for sure will work.

Will my laptop overheat or have any performance issues? Will 144hz work? Will I need any sort of active converter (don’t think so, but just want to make sure)? If it won’t work, I’ll probably just sell the monitor (and potentially my Logitech G Pro keyboard) and just use my laptop keyboard and screen. Thanks.
