[SOLVED] Will my laptop support 144hz monitor?

HP OMEN 15-ax212nw I don't care about the fps in the games, because im getting 140fps+ in games i play. My question is will the laptop's hdmi port support that refresh rate? The monitor i want to buy has 1.4 hdmi port. The laptop has NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4GB GDDR5 https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05478464/

HDMI 1.4 and up can support up to 144Hz at 1920×1080 but that doesn't mean your monitor will.

Actually I did.

Read you manual your device has an HDMI 2.0 port.

And

HDMI 1.4 and up can support up to 144Hz at 1920×1080

HDMI 2.0 is above 1.4 correct?
