Will my Mini-ITX build throttle from heat?

Hey fellas =)

So after building my first successful build last year. Everything went great and I had a blast but it's time for me to do a second build. It won't happen very soon but I'm planning on my parts now.

My main objective with the build is portability for me to move around with. Obviously a Mini-ITX SFF came to my mind and I loved it. I got all the parts after very thorough research but I found this guy with the same case and similar build. He is stating that his graphics was overheating and throttling that he had to cut 3 round holes on top of the case for 3 fans to fix this issue. Here is a link: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/mcD8TW

It really bothers me because I'm in love with the case. It's very slim with a handle I can carry around. Not mention the GPU clearance area and front USB I/O. Anyway here is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/4Rn3HN

Should I not worry about what he says and feel safe about the temps? Or should I start looking at another case? The only one that comes to mind as an alternative is: https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Technology-Mini-ITX-Computer-RVZ01B/dp/B00I3EKXDE?th=1 but to be honest, It doesn't have a handle and it looks bulkier which does bother me.

Note: I don't want any round, square or bulky cases. I'm aiming for a briefcase kind of case and this is the closest I found.

Your insight is very much appreciated !

It's not a must but if you are really concerned about it, the blower style will provide the least amount of heat build up in the case. The down side of course is blower style is generally louder.

I wouldn't really worry about it though the 1060 is more energy efficient (less heat) than the 980 that guy was using.

Frankly there are people who have used 1070 and 1080s in similar size cases and don't have a problem.

Honestly, I have never been a fan of EVGA. Specially after they issued back their cards because smoke was literally coming out from heat. This is out of the question for me (Also the lack of Mini-ITX GPUs in my area. I can only get fully sized ones). Also you said 1060 will be fine. If I ever upgrade to 1070. Will it be the same case?

Oh I vaguely heard about this before. So that's what it means but how can I find it on PCPartPicker?

Edit: I found an asus version already http://pcpartpicker.com/product/Wt7CmG/asus-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-turbo-video-card-turbo-gtx1060-6g
I will look into the reviews but Is a blower style GPU a must and without it, I will face heating problems?
Also generally. What is better and more ideal for my case? A blower style GPU or Mini-ITX form factor version of it?

Thanks
