hey guys just looking a motherboards i came across gigabyte ga-970a-ud3p which is am3+ slot just wondering if i will be able to use this processor i read on gigabyte's website that you had to update the bios with the latest drivers if i do have to update the drivers how will i do it if the fx 8350 dont work?? i cant afford to buy another processor just to update the mobo any help will be great thanks!

Ok. I see what you're saying, but even when I go to download the latest BIOS, the only version available is the F1 version and that should be what's already installed. Also, looking at the ASUS board, it requires at least BIOS version 1006, which is almost certainly going to require a BIOS update to support that CPU.

ok cool i dunno how to oc but i guss its easy enuff i actualy was wondering if the asrock 970 extreem3 would support the 8320 or should i spring for the gigabyte 1?? thanks

ohh yeh ive had a bit of a dent in my buget so im now looking at an ga-970a-ud3p with the fx 8320 oced to 4.0ghz yeh? will this motherboard support the processer out of the box?? i dont have another to do a bios update with.

question 2 =) will a zalman cnps7500 cpu cooler be enuff to cool the procceser

question 3 will a 600-650w power supply be enuff to power the above components plus 1 msi r9 290 gaming 4GB??

thanks guys

ok do you think the 2x 4GB ram kit would be better then 2x 8GB ram kit and this is the build so far ive changed the zalman for the evo cooler

Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz (hoping to overclock to 4GHz. dont kno how to overclock tho)

Crucial 16GB kit (8GBx2) DDR3 1600MHz

MSI R9 290 GAMING 4GB

Corsair 600W CX Builder Series ive been told to get a better 1

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

gunna put it in a Sharkoon BullDozer midi case (its got good reviews)

any good?

if overclocking that 8320 to 4.5 that cooler might just be enough that i a rough estimate, i have the same processor but i just got the NH-14D, 8gb of ram is enough there are test that some that fps sometimes drops with more than that, with the PSU i just got a CX750M for 70$ cause you have take in he fact that fans, hdd, sdd, dvd, all that draws power also
PSU is the heart of the system the CPU is the brains, MOBO is the body, GPU is the Eyes
