[SOLVED] Will my motherboard boot a M.2 SSD from a PCIE adapter card?

As you can see by the title im wondering if my motherboard is compatible with that type of ssd as the boot drive from pcie adapter.

Probably not natively, no.

Booting from PCIe M.2 drives first came around (on a consumer chipset) with Z97/early 2014.
H55 predates native support by ~4 years.

There are ways to modify a BIOS etc to enable booting, but given the limited 'benefits' to 99% of users (ie it's faster, but outside of benchmarks, it's not likely to 'feel' a bunch faster), a traditional 2.5" SATA SSD probably makes the most sense.
