Hello,

So I've searched through a couple of similar threads on the forum, but was not able to find a definitive way of working out if a motherboard would fit in a case.

This is my motherboard: gigabyte ga-x79-ud3

I'm interested in any of these three cases (preferably the first):

How do I work out if it will fit? Sorry if there is another thread explaining this, feel free to direct me to it. Also apologies for the nooby question, I'm only just starting to made modifications to my PC, it's a learning curve that's for sure!!

TIA

So I just have to find a case that fits a motherboard with these dimensions?

Hello RahhGrr

I read your post and I would like to give you my opinion about it. Motherboard manufacturers construct their products in different sizes [ATX, mATX, ITX etc.], it is exactly the same thing with clothes [XL, L, M etc.]. The motherboard you picked is an ATX sized motherboard and IT WILL NOT FIT IN CASES THAT SUPPORT ONLY mATX & ITX case size.

I hope this helps,
