I have an asus prime b365m-c/csm motherboard with intel i5 9400f and i'm thinking of getting Galax rtx 2060 graphic card. Will it support?

It will work fine. I would not opt for an expensive z390 motherboard for a locked i5 9400f.

You cannot overclock the 9400f, so the z390 wont help there.

And the motherboard doesnt really matter for overclocking gpu.
