If you want i3 6100, you will need to buy new motherboard and RAM.

No offense but your cpu has become very old. Even a new Pentium G4400 will blow it out of water.
If you want better gaming experience, get the 750TI.

Or if you can sell your current system without the gpu, you can buy a very good skylake system.
The motherboard will support the gpu no problem. As long as you can put anything in the motherboard, it will run.
What is your current gpu?

But your system is quite old. Are you using a dual core cpu? If so buying a new i3 6100 cpu will also be good.

By the way i also have a 7750. It was in a G41 motherboard with a Dual Core E5400 @3.3GHz. After i put it in a G4400 system, i got 15-30 more FPS in average and smoother game play on 1366x768 resolution. It is my second pc now.
