[SOLVED] Will my Motherboard support the new NVIDIA 3070

Hi All,

Im looking to upgrade my graphics card at the end of the year from a 1060 6gb to the new 3070 but am wondering if my motherboard will support it.

My specs are..

asus h110m-r motherboard
i7-6700k cpu

any help greatly appreciated as im new to building in general

Yes, PCIe 4.0 is backward compatible.

Thanks for your reply. I am upgrading my psu at the same time to 850w minimum so was hoping I was covered there =)

850W is way more than you need. 650W would be plenty.

PSU choice is more about quality than wattage.
