Will my motherboard work with different CPUs?

I have a Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2 and i have a CPU list of what CPUs it works with, but would any other CPUs also work with it if they have the same socket and are also AMD?

i am just wondering if i could get a CPU not on that list but with the same socket type.

which cpu are you talking about? and assume no, it is best to get one that is supported

well i have an APU at the moment and want a CPU and a GPU for the performance. any AMD CPU that is better than my current AMD A8 7650K

not for that motherboard, just pop in a gpu and overclock the cpu
