will my motherboard work with this ram?

my motherboard is a asus b150 pro gaming 1151 and in the description it says it will support up to 2133mhz ram but i have bought 2400mhz kinston hyperx ram -

will the ram work with the motherboard or will i have to buy new ram -

Your RAM will run at the 2133mhz, because the b150 can only support up to 2133mhz, if you want to run the RAM at 2400mhz, you have to buy the Z170. So you can keep the 2400mhz RAM, or return the 2400mhz and buy other lower price 2133mhz RAM.
