As stated above, it's simply a question of will my MSI x370 Gaming Pro Carbon work with a Ryzen 3600x / 3700x? It'd make the jump from 1700x a little sweeter and cleaner considering I could reuse everything other than the CPU.

You would need to flash the BIOS to 7A32v1NX(Beta version) Before you install the Ryzen 3000 series CPU.
