Will my new system run games like Mario, and other oldies?

So I wanted to play games like Mario, and other old DOS games on my 1080p monitor.
Till now, I used to play on my laptop but I want a PC.
I consulted a friend of mine, and he told me to go for this rig:

CPU : Intel i7 4960x
GPU : NVidia GTX Titan 4-Way SLI
RAM: 16 GB x 2

I've already purchased the rig and before getting it assembled, I wanted to ask if this new system can run Mario, DOOM 1, DOOM 2 etc. without any lag? Because on my laptop, they used to lag like hell.

Mario yes but doom1 & 2 asks for upgrade so upgrade your rig to
