Will my parts fit?

Hi, so im planning a new build for myself and was wondering if i would encounter any problems along the way. Im new to building pcs as this is my first time.
I know theres sites like pcpartpicker that can help me but i just want some other advice from the public
Heres my build

CPU: AMD FX-8320 8-Core 3.5GH
MOBO: MSI 970A-G43 970 AM3+ or the ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS
CPU COOLER: Be Quiet! Pure Rock
RAM: DDR3 8GB (2x4GB) PC1600 CL9 Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba
GPU: r9 290x 4gb
CASE: i havent chosen a case yet because i wasnt sure what would fit. I had in mind a Thermaltake Versa H15 mATX

Also would the cpu and gpu be a good combo for the newer AAA games?

yes, they should fit. as long as your motherboard is micro atx like the case you shouldnt have problems. your build is a good build for gaming most times(although in future years the cpu will start slacking. and the gpu will more than likely fit i the case. most micro atx cases fit all gpus. yes you should be fine

Will it fit - yes
Is it a wise choice - I doubt it.

You're buying dead tech.
The Fx is several years old and outdated, the socket is no longer used, ddr3 has been replaced and while the GPU is still pretty neat, it's getting 2 generations old by now.

I'd either invest a few $ more into an i5 or wait a few weeks for the next generation on AMD CPUs & GPUs, they sure look very promising

Yeah i had thought of getting the rx 480 8gb, Until a good friend of mine had donated his 290x. The Cpu..I just went for what i thought was good, but i guess i was wrong. Which i5 would you recommend to replace this CPU
