yes. although I and as the rest of us will advice you to buy i5-2500k with socket lga 1155 if you're only gaming.

you won't notice any difference with the i5-2500k and i7. Get the i5-2500k, it's cheaper and better for price/performance.

nope. you'll need a socket 1155 motherboard for the i5 2500k

Yeah don't worry the motherboard is cheap. Get the asrock gen3 extreme3.

By switching to an i5-2500K + LGA1155 MB + 8GB of not overpriced RAM, you can probably save enough to buy either a 2nd 560Ti to SLI or upgrade to a GTX 570 or maybe even a GTX 580. This would give you much better gaming performance than your original build.
