I currently have a 1080p 60Hz monitor and i want to upgrade to a 144Hz 1440p monitor, i only play league of legends and sometimes valorant, my current spec is:
intel i5-4590
16GB of RAM @ 1600Mhz
Gigabyte GTX 1650 Super
Gigabyte B85M-HD3 Motherboard
I currently run league of legends at somewhere around 140-150fps and goes down to 100-110 during intense fights (sometimes lower)
My fps doesn't change no matter the settings i choose, whether i play with extremely low settings or the very high settings, the fps is always the same,
So my question is if i were to get a 144Hz 1440p monitor, will i be able to run the game and utilize the 144Hz refresh rate? or will my pc struggle to push 140+ fps in 1440p ?
I plan on getting a new PC soon i'm just waiting for the new cpu/gpu releases etc.. but for the mean time i plan on using this PC.
* I currently have three monitors, two of the monitors (old ones) are plugged into my motherboard that use the CPU's integrated graphics card, don't know if this affects FPS but just thought i'd mention it.
