Hey guys, so i was wondering if my new pc build that I will be building in the next few weeks will allow me to play all current and future games at Ultra to high settings at 1080p. (I also want to know what this build could do if I upgraded from hd to 4k) I also video edit and I want to make sure that I have enough punch to render and edit at full preformence, hence the 16GB of RAM. Here it is:

CPU-Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
RAM-Crucial 16GB 8X2 D3 1600 DIMM
GPU-MSI GTX970 Gaming 4GB DDHDP
Motherboard-Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 ATX
HDD-Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
SSD-Samsung E 250GB 850 EVO SSD
Case- (to be decided)
DVD Drive- Black SATA 24X DVD Burner
PSU-EVGA 600W 80+ Bronze PSU
CPU Cooler- Coolmast Hyper TX3 UNIV CPU H

If someone could recommend a case, that would be great. A full tower would be preferred so that I do not get stuck with wire soup and my machine gets more air flow. I am trying to stick to $1200 budget as well so keep that in mind if you can recommend a case.

Needed a little fine tuning-

Solution
Will that build allow for me to run games at high on a 4k display should I ever upgrade to 4k?
Also thanks for the help. I can get some of those parts for cheaper at my local microcenter so i may be a little under 1200, which is where i want to be.

It will take SLI GTX 980 ti's for 4K on high settings at a cost of $1400 just for the 2 video cards. GTX 970 is good for 1080P. You'll be able to play at high and Ultra settings depending on the game. Video editing will be easy with the i7 and 16GB memory. The SSD will keep things moving fast for you. The power supply and motherboard are SLI and overclock ready.
