Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 1070 / 1080 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 600 Watts power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 1070 / 1080 SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 850~900 Watts power supply unit.

If you are going to overclock your GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.

There are many good PSUs out there, please do have a look at our many PSU reviews as we have loads of recommended PSUs for you to check out in there. What could happen if your PSU can't cope with the load is:

Bad 3D performance
Crashing games

Freezing during...
I think officially they want you to have a 600w
But Im sure a good quality 550 would do. (That seasonic is fine)

If you want to be certain, with some headroom for possible future upgrades, see if you can stretch to a 750w of similar quality.

Problem is i already ordered it and dont want to go through the hassle of amazon returns. Just didnt know if it would be safe or not for a 1080. I could always go 1070 but i play in 4k and 1080 is a big jump

PSU overload can cause it to break down

Your PSU in first post should fine, dont worry.
You can always return if needed.
