Hello guys :)
Like the tittle says. I think about buying Battlefield 3 for PC, but I also want to run it on 1920x120 res. and AT LEAST medium details with decent FPS (and by decent I mean +30fps ;) ).
Here's my rig:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3,00Ghz
HIS Radeon 4890 1GB
4,00GB Ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Thanks! ;)

Yes. Medium settings will run fine.

I'd say so. Can't confirm this but the 4890 is a pretty capable card, albeit one that's 3 generations old. CPU is fine.

But ONLY 30fps, or maybe more, like 40? :D

as soon as you get on a big multiplayer map your pc will crumple... it will be fine in single player but then your not having to deal with external data of up to 64 other players.
so i would say if you dont have a quad then give bf3 a miss as frostbite 2 likes quad systems more than dual... especially when the dual core system is as unbalanced as far as gpu to cpu grunt as yours...
regardless of settings your likely to be in the high teens most of the time rather than high 30's

I'd buy it and if it doesn't work to your satisfaction, plan an upgrade, paying careful attention to where the bottleneck is.

you could buy it but it might not run that great at 1920x120 res but if it didnt you could always turn it down and im sure you could get playable fps.

Yeah I think I'll buy it..I own PS3 version, but it suuucks soo much.
Seriously, I heard that PC version is WAY better, and even when details are on LOW, it still looks better then console version..
I also was wondering is it even worth buying if I own the PS3 version..But I think there's nothing to lose, because console version holds stable 30+fps, so on PC I can only get more, and with better graphic..I think..
