Question Will My PC Run Star Citizen?

Hi I was wondering if my PC would be able to run star citizen on med/high settings above 60fps on 1080p

RTX 2060
Ryzen 3 1300X (I know bad combination)
32GB G skill trident z RGB 2800MHz
1TB HDD
Msi B350 Tomahawk

I’ve heard the game is very cpu and hard drive intensive and you should really only play with SSD which is why I’m wondering if it will run.

What make and model HDD? Capacity and how full now?

Most games present some listing of required hardware. Minimal, Recommended, and Best.

You do not want Minimal and you do want as much "Best" as you can afford and fit in.

And do not overlook power requirements. The PSU is critical and must be able to provide sufficient/sustained power during peak gaming activities.

One immediate thing you can do is start using Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe current system performance while playing other games. Performance Monitor may be helpful as well.

End objective is to determine if your present hardware, OS, and installed software (games) are already pressing performance.

Compare those games' hardware requirements to Star Citizen.
