will my pc support hd 7870?

hi to all,
i am planning to get a new gc for my pc with the following specs....
intel core 2 duo e7500 2.93ghz
4gb ddr2 ram
pcie 1.0
zebronic 450w psu
i have shortlisted 2 gcs

i would like to know whether both of them will run on pcie 1.0 and whether my psu will support them?
and i intend to play on 1366x768 resolution all the latest games like bf4, bf3 crysis 3 etc..

first: get rid of the zebronics power supply. get a seasonic s12ii 520 or something, way better than the zebronics.

the xfx7870 looks better. they should be able to run on pcie 1.0 since pcie standards are backwards compatible, although i suspect that you will be cpu-bottlenecked with your cpu and at that resolution. bf4 and crysis 3 both favor more (i.e. 4+) cpu cores.

i am presently tight on budget so i just wanted to know if my present psu will handle it for at least 4-5months till i get a new psu.
and also i am posting a link which gave me a doubt whether pcie 1.0 is really backwards compatible or not
