Will my power supply be ok for my cpu and gpu?

I currently have the AMD FX 4130 processor that I overclocked to 4.2ghz. I am about to replace my processor with the AMD FX 6300. I have the Corsair CX600 in my system with my MSI Radeon R9 290. My pc reboots randomly when I'm playing games or just surfing the web. When I upgrade to the fx 6300 would it prevent these reboots or would I have to buy a new power supply?

Your system should do well enough that you shouldn't feel compelled to upgrade. You may need to lower a few settings (particularly lowering the load on the CPU, like draw distance), but not down to "low" or otherwise poor settings.

Processor: Current: amd fx 4130 overclocked 4.2hz New: amd fx 6300 (I'm installing this one tomorrow)
Graphics Card: MSI Radeon R9 290
Power Supply: Corsair CX600
Case: Zalman Z11 Plus
HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200rpm
CPU Cooler: Standard AMD one
Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
RAM: Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) 1680mhz DDR3

In theory, yes you should be fine as you should be drawing only about 460ish W. However, I'd be a bit concerned about current draw. You have 46 A available and your GPU is going to be tying up 30 - 35 of those. If you said it only happened during gaming, then I'd lean towards you overdrawing your PSU. However, since it happens when you are just surfing as well that would seem to point somewhere else.

How old is your rig? The Corsair CX line is made with some inferior capacitors that cannot take heat and degrade. If it is six months old or older, it may be done. I'd look for a better PSU; Seasonic or Super Flower, such as Seasonic, XFX, EVGA GS, G2, or B2, or Rosewill Capstone. You could get away with 550W, but 600W-650W would be a little more comfortable.

Those are good brands and given the difference in price, which is minimal, do yourself a favor and get a 650+. Hell, sometimes you can find 750W for a mere $10 more. No reason not to if it's from a reputable company and made with quality in mind as opposed to a price point.

My pc is 1 year and almost 7 months old

At that age, it would not surprise me if it is having capacitor problems. These could manifest as crashes or reboots. Replacing your CPU with the FX-6300 is unlikely to make it any worse, but the problem will certainly continue. There are other potential causes, but it would still be a good idea to replace that PSU. In the meantime, reseat your RAM and graphics card in case thermal cycling has affected their contacts.

My ram is at 1680mhz for some reason because I overclocked my processor. Would me replacing it affect this?

Hmmm, that one looks like it has a heatsink on its VRMs, which is good. It is an old 700-series board though (and only runs its Hypertransport buss at 2200MHz vs. 2600MHz of a 900-series board), so if you need a lot more performance, it would make more sense to put your money into a new [Intel-based; I'm not a fanboy and own both, but Intel is faster) system.

I have just spent all my budget on my gpu and cpu so I wont be able to get a new motherboard and cpu soon.
