Will my power supply be sufficient?

I have an i5-2500 system and will be trading out my current GPU for an MSI R9 390. I have an OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W PSU that I've had for almost 4 years. On the back of the R9 box it has a minimum requirement of 750 watts for the card but says that each system may require less or more depending on components. This card doesn't draw that much power does it? Do I need more that 600 watts? Thank you.

One, you can google a PSU calculator and If you know the components of you rig well it will tell you the exact amount you need. As a rule of thumb subtract 50 watts from your current PSU for every year you've been using it. Two, the box of most AMD GPUs greatly exaggerate how much power you need. Find the specs of your GPU online to know for sure. For instance, my AMD Radeon r5 230 recommend 600+ PSU when in reality the card uses less than 40 watts.

Usually a 650w PSU is recommended for a R9 390, but as long you aren't running water cooling and tons of HDDs/SDDs you should be fine i guess. But better wait for someone actually using an R9 390 im not 100% sure.

@CDDogg: Why the hell would you subtract 50 watts from your PSU for every year usage? Maybe you should spend more than 5$ on your PSU. 😀
Also the ecommended for a R5 230 is 300w, not 600w and that's only because the rest of the system will actually need the left over watt for CPU, cooling and drives.

The ocz was a bit mediocre when it was new in all honesty.
In theory yes its enough but me personally I'm not sure I'd trust it with a 390.

Yes online sources say 300+ that why I bought it with my 500 watt, the packaging itself, however, says it needs 600+. Also you subtract the 50 for every year as a way of countering any unexpected drops in performance due to dust, temperature, age, etc.

Will an EVGA SuperNova 750 watt 80+ gold G2 be a good power supply for now and in the future? I have a $100 budget for the PSU.

Absolutely mate - possibly the best PSU around in it's wattage range.

Thanks guys for the replies! I got an EVGA SuperNova 850 80 plus gold for $80 on Newegg. Hopefully this 390 will be a great card!
