Will my PSU be enough

I was looking at a 550w PSU

for my new build and ive been told this 550w will do the trick but i dont want to have any problems with it. does anyone know if it will do the job with this build or do i need a 650

That is a good PSU and 550w would work fine but I personally prefer to go a bit over and would get a 650w. Actual power consumption of that build would be about 350w for the GPU and 130w for the CPU max for a max draw of 480w. But you typically want to run your power supply under 80% of it's rated capacity to keep it running longer which would be 440w for the 80% value.

Basically if you max out your cpu and GPU then you would break the 80% value but would still be under the rated power.

FYI you would not be able to get max consumption on your GPU & CPU without cryptomining or doing something crazy, it wouldn't happen with normal gaming.

ok i got the PSU for 25$ so ill probably just stick with it, i ws thinking i doubt ill get max loads ever
