[SOLVED] Will my psu be enough?

Good day! I'm about to upgrade my system from: i7 4790, 8gb ddr3, 1tb/500gb hdd, and a 600w seasonic eco to: i5 10500, 500gb ssd. 16gb ddr4, most of my system stays the same including my gpu (gtx 1080), and of course the hdds stay as well, but in preparing my budget for the upgrade, i forgot the factor in the PSU. I was wondering if my current 600w seasonic eco PSU would be enough or do I need to upgrade that as well? Also, feel free to make any suggestions regarding my upgrade path. I use my pc 99% of the time for gaming.

If said PSU is as old as the rest of that machine, I would replace it. Gaming I cannot recommend any locked Intel CPU. Either get a k series, with a z490 board, or go with a Ryzen 5 3600, with a B550 board. Locked Intel chips, on B, and H, chipsets, that they should be paired with, forces you to use slower 2666 ram speeds, which can have quite an impact, in newer titles. That 10500, with 2666 ram, would lose to a Ryzen 3 3300x, paired with 3200mhz ram, for instance, and provided you could find one at retail, the Ryzen 3 option would be cheaper. The 3600, though, is reasonably priced, and a much better option, than that i5 10500. 10500 isn't really going to be much different than a 10400, in this review, performance wise.
