Hi... yes! That is a really decent quality supply, and the RTX 2070 Super isn't that power hungry of a card really so should be fine. I think you might want to look at upgrading that i5 to an i7 7700K if you can find one, as only 4 threads is going to hold a 2070 Super back in a lot of modern titles.

I would get a new supply.
First of all NVidia recommends 650......and that card takes 215.....that doesn't leave you much left with a 550.

Also BeQuiets can be questionable as far as quality.

Read the section on BeQuiet in this link.

https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...ussion-and-recommended-models-thread.3212332/

I wouldn't trust my system to an old marginal BeQuiet.

That article does say that BeQuiet have some good models- the unit in question is their top supply and is 80+ Platinum rated which suggests a very high quality supply.

550W is on the limit even if its 80+ Titanium efficiency and if you overclock anything your PSU will fail and might damage your components.

Get a Seasonic Focus 650W or a Corsair TX 650W at least. There is a reason why nVidia recommends 650W min for the RTX2070S.

thanks for the answers
ive also looked up some psu calcs and some more infos and the usage of my parts seems to be around 460-470w with the rtx2070
and they recommend 510-520w
my psu has 550 and peaks at 610

i think im going for it

@Zizo007 im not going to oc anything so i should be safe on this part

@jay32267 yeah not very much space from needed to available power but it looks like itll work
also it seems u had bad experiences with bequite

@cdrkf my wallet didnt plan a cpu upgrade for the near future ;)

but if i change another part ill upgrade the psu aswell

so thanks again for your responses and taking the time to show me your point of view to my predicament

have a nice christmas and a good new year
