Hi everyone

I've gone through some different wattage calculators and I don't get a completely accurate result but it looks like I should be okay. Just want to get people's thoughts.

Psu is a a Corsair hx520w several years old.

CPU: 5950x
MB: Asus strix b550e
GFX: ASUS 760 GTX direct cu ii oc
RAM: 2x16gb and 2x4gb
1 SSD, 3HHD, 1 DVD-RW drive
1 120mm fan and 2 CPU fans

May add another drive at some point.

Thanks!

That unit was released in 2006, making it a nearly 20 year old unit. You should consider purchasing a new PSU. Look into a reliably built 750W unit and that should keep you float for years and then some upgrades shoehorned in between said years.

Any you would recommend for around £30?

Would the computer just power down if it wasn't enough to run it or would something bad happen?
