will my psu handle the saphire radeon hd 7770

i have corsair vs series 450W psu.i want to install a new hd 7770 ddr5 1gb.can my psu handle this card?

that should be fine if you don't plan on two way crossfire or anything like that. what brand card do you have? sapphire, xfx, etc?

now i have radeon hd 5450 2gb.but i want to upgrade to a saphire radeon hd 7770 or a saphire radeon r7 250 1gb ddr5.will it handle any of these cards without any problems?i dont want to use two way crossfire or any such technology.

in performance the 7770 is better than the r7 250. so, if you are willing to spend more on the power supply as well as the video card i would go with that. what games do you want to play? depending on that you could probably just go with the r7 250. i play these games with the r7 250: skyrim (ultra 36 avg FPS) fallout 3 and new vegas (ultra) starcraft 2 (ultra, FPS varies on map) and a few other games on high settings. Note: i have AA and AF off for all games

i want to play resident evil 6,naruto shipudden ultimate ninja storm 3 full burst,bf4,cod ghosts,nfs rivals,assasins creed black flag etc on high settings and low resolution of 800*600 or 1280*768

your PSU will handle the r7 250 but you will not be able to play high settings on bf4 or assassins creed black flag I'm afraid...COD ghosts may be slim as well but all of the other games shouldn't have much problems. there was an article on this website comparing several cards to battlefield 4 and for the r7 250 it could play that game on low settings at 50-60 fps.

I think your PSU can handle either one of those GPUs. Manufacturers tend to purposely over estimate PSU needed to have a buffer and is good practice. Your 450 PSU will run a 7770.

What is the rest of your computer components?

i would guess around medium settings you could still get smooth framerate. i wouldn't know because i haven't tried due to me having bf4 for my PS4 XD. the beauty of pc gaming is you can tweak the graphics to your liking so you don't have to have super high detail in the foliage for example or you don't really need AA or AF. if you have a lowered resolution with tweaked graphics i don't see you having many problems with this card. just don't expect super amazing looking graphics on the newer games haha

Keep in mind the benchmark cpu is much stronger than yours, but will give you an idea what to expect.

i wouldn't worry too much. i have a mid tower case that is a mATX form factor and don't have any overheating
