Hi all
I'm using my 500w power supply for 3 years.
I bought a GALAX GTX 960 OC 2GB GDDR5 graphic card recently. i know that gtx 960 can run by 400w power supply but i'm afraid of my PSU , it is not a famous brand and it is 3 years old now.

This is my system:
Mainboard: Asus p8b75-v
CPU: Intel core i5 2320
Ram = 2*4 GB Corsair
Hard Drive: 1TB WDC WD10EARX-00N0YB0

And this is what manufacturer says about power supply specifications:

AC fuse protection
Universal 20+4 pin MB connector
ATX 12V power supply
Output over voltage protection
Short-circuit protection at any DC output
100% burn-in, hi-pot & ATE tested
Meets international safety standards
Near-silent exhaust fan
Input 207~240V 6A AC
Input frequency 50Hz
Power Good Signal 100~500ms (>10ms)
Hold up time @115V/50Hz
Efficiency >90%
MTBF 100,000hours
Protections SCP, OPP, OVP, OCP, UVP, CFP
Output 500 W Continuous - 660W Stands for 1 min

My power supply has 1 * 6-pin and 1 * 4-pin power connector.

- Can i use my old PSU? or i must buy a new one?
- I heard that poor PSU may damage entire hardware , will it happen to my system if i don't replace PSU?
- I heard that PSU maximum power will decrease every year , is this true?

After looking through the PSU Tier List in this forum I can't even find the manufacturer listed there, so I'd say, switch it out to stay safe, look through the PSU Tier List (click) and find a good quality PSU to buy. Good luck with your...

Can you tell us what PSU it actually is and not the specs of it?
To answer your other questions, if your PSU dies, there's a good chance it'll take something with it and over use the capacitorrs will age a bit and it might not be able to withstand high load, but i'm not sure if that's something you should be scared of with a good PSU.

i'm using eram eps-1500
