Edit: the psu is: FSP atx-400pnf

Hello, I have a FSP 400w psu with no 80 plus certify. And I've been using it for 2 months now and I've had no issues so far. I read about cheap psu's blowing up and now I'm a bit scared. So my question is: will that psu burn down my house?

Solution

What you have is a good quality PSU,
specs: http://inpc.com.ua/data/product_f/psu/atx400pnf.html
review: https://mattgadient.com/2006/03/27/review-fortron-sparkle-atx-400pn-400-watt-power-supply-psu/

But since it was released 2006 or 2005, it's age alone is very good reason why i'd switch it out.

For new PSU, anything from Seasonic will do just fine, in 500W range. E.g S12II-520, M12II-520 EVO, G-550 or Focus+ 550,

Focus+ is the newest PSU line from Seasonic which comes with 10 years of warranty. Other listed Seasonic PSUs have 5 years of warranty.
